Salaam Bombay!

Splendid - you look fabulous! the textures, the colours, your poise... shine on, Sheena! (I've been delighting in following your project from the beginning but have never commented; kudos to you and your team for all that you're doing, and for all the right reasons!)

You look gorgeous in that stunning silk, in that heartwarming back drop of a red bus in the maximum city, Mumbai! I haven't spent much time in Mumbai, but there is so much of India crammed into every inch of space, time and scent here. Loved your blog and photos of Akanksha. It's great to see that children are being taught lessons in life , rather than lessons from text books as we were!

Wow!!What a smashing outfit with the bright background & those classic landmarks of the great Bollywood City! The gorgeous dhoti goes so well with the matching vintage pumps.Very inspiring & enlightening descriptions on Akansha..Why not try our traditional "herbal tea"or the "ginger coffee" for ur poor throat?

This is designer kind of a stylish, from head to toe, very 'urban elegance'. i really like the fact that you're spicing things up with the local flavour, but it's never overkill - it never chokes the little black dress, it reinvents it. I know everyone's said this before, probably a hundred times since the project started, but you really do have a flare for fashion - you make everything work. And i really hope this project reaches beyond your most hopeful expectations!

I love the iridescence of the dhoti which mirrors the colors of the pumps; then the neutrals of the scarf, hankie and beads lend a wonderful earthiness.
